Ketambe - The Friendship Guesthouse
If you arrive in Ketambe from Kutacane there are first the 3 guesthouses Pak Mus, Pondok Wisata und Sadar Wisata. About 150 meters further on the left side you will find the Friendship Guesthouse & Restaurant. Watch the sign.
The Friendship Guesthouse area is situated between the only paved road and the parallel flowing river. The distance between the road and the river is about 150 meters.
For accommodation there are 3 separate bungalows (no. 1, 2, 3) and a building with 2 attached rooms (no. 4 and 5); each with own bathroom. This is prefered by families. There is another building with 3 attached rooms, each with own bathroom (no. 6, 7, and 8). This is the closest to the river. Room no. 8 has 2 single beds.
The bungalows were built in 2008 in the typical wooden style on stilts with a corrugated sheet roof. Each bungalow has one room (3,5 x 4,0 m) with a double sized bed and a concret and tiled bathroom (2,5 x 1,5 m) with western style toilet and indonesian style shower (mandi). In front of the bungalow is the terrace (4,0 x 1,5 m) with table and chairs and possibility to set a hamock. For details see pictures. The building with rooms 4 and 5 were constructed in 2009 and no. 6 to 8 in 2010. These rooms have similar size to the bungalows.

Food and drinks can be ordered at the restaurant. Room service is available.
The price for one bungalow or room is 50,000 IDR per night, suitable for one or two people. In the bungalows its possible to put a seperate mattress on the floor for a 3rd person. It costs 20,000 IDR extra.
It is recommended to book accommodation in advance, especially in the high season July, August and December.
